Our Mission

Our mission is to help Southeast Columbus residents understand Ohio's medical cannabis certification process through accurate information, convenient medical access, and guidance based on current state requirements.

This part of the community covers a broad geographic area. Official boundaries for the Greater South East Area Commission reference Interstate 70, Hamilton Road, Big Walnut Creek, Refugee Road, Pickerington, and Canal Winchester, illustrating how widely residents are distributed across the southeast side.

We aim to make medical cannabis information easier to navigate so patients can understand eligibility, registration, physician requirements, possession limits, costs, and renewal without relying on outdated rules.

Who We Are

We provide medical cannabis information and certification support for Southeast Columbus residents considering participation in Ohio's medical marijuana program.

The southeast side has its own development pattern, with official city records identifying sites along Brice Road, Refugee Road, Winchester Pike, and other corridors within or associated with the Greater South East Area Commission. Recent zoning records include both commercial and multi-unit residential development, reflecting continued growth in parts of the area.

Our goal is to provide material written for this community rather than reuse generic neighborhood copy.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing Southeast Columbus patients with clear and current information about Ohio's medical cannabis requirements while respecting medical privacy and the judgment of authorized physicians.

That means accurately distinguishing state registration requirements from provider costs, updating legal information when Ohio rules change, and explaining the steps patients must complete before and after receiving a recommendation.

Joining Hands with the Community

Southeast Columbus includes established neighborhoods as well as areas experiencing continued residential and commercial development. City planning guidance for the southeast side is intended to help shape future development, redevelopment, and public improvements throughout the area.

Major roads, county and municipal boundaries, Big Walnut Creek, and the area's rail and highway corridors help define the community's geography. These characteristics are important when creating genuinely local information for residents rather than treating the southeast side as interchangeable with another neighborhood.

Our role is to add a useful medical cannabis resource by helping residents understand certification, eligibility, patient responsibilities, costs, and renewal requirements.
